It was speculated during the Ogre Wars that the Ogre Raiders are coming from some as yet undiscovered island. A common nickname for this hypothetical island is Ogre Island. Then, dwarves of the Azmar Army led by the warlord Karleg of Azmar discovered that the island was real. Combined forces of Azmar and Stondar attacked the island in a fight known as the Battle of Ogre Island and drove all the ogres from the island and drove off the dragon, Zern, which had been aiding the ogres. Unfortunately, the warlord Karleg of Azmar was killed by Zern during the battle and Azmar was then led by the weaker Prince Yarl who failed to stop the Ogre Raiders from retaking Ogre Island and resuming attacks on dwarves on various islands.
