The Gnome Defenders were a secret organization in Port Town on Punkett Island. (Now renamed Stondar City and Stondar Island) It was made up exclusively of Gnomes and is said to have been formed to protect Gnomes from violence and oppression by Dwarves. Many Dwarves considered the Gnome Defenders to be a criminal gang. Gnomes say it was a counterpart to the Port Town Militia. During the Kicking of the Gnomes the Port Town Militia drove all Gnomes out of Port Town. The Gnome Defenders fought briefly and were thoroughly defeated. It is widely believed that the Gnome Defenders no longer exist, but there are rumors that they do.
