The "mere" or mirror is a small lake or pond in a wooded area on Worfin Island. A statue stands on the site that appears to be of an elf maiden. The origin of this statue is unknown. When the first dwarves colonized the island and built Worfin Village in the early days of the First Age, the statue was already there. No one known who is depicted in the statue or who made it.
