Economy

There is not much to the economy yet, but it is expected to be primarily player driven.

Whoever owns an object can sell it or trade it. Actually, we're having trouble with the trading system, so you may have to resort to simple barter (each person drops a trade item on the ground and lets the other pick it up).

Either players or gods may create a new type of object, that also could be players or gods. Some players are learning to use the blender software (see [url]www.blender.org[url]) that can create graphics. We have volunteers to learn the scripting language as soon as I find a way to post a guide to how it works. Graphics, scripts and loading it into the game are all there is to creating a new item.

As for how money is earned, whoever has the money decides who they will pay it to and for what. If you earn money healing people and want to hire someone to go back to port town and buy some more food and bring it to you, it will be up to you to decide how much to pay them and who to hire. (Yes, I know, some people in the game are against charging for healing services. I would use fishing as an example, but at the time of this writing, the fishing skill isn't set up yet.)

If it's an NPC that's going to pay someone, then of course, the gods/admins control that.
