The Deification Church seeks to convince the gods to allow one or more of its members to join the ranks of the gods. Who this will be has not been chosen, but the founder of the chuch, Valindra, desires to become a goddess.

It is said that in the early days of the First Age, when the Temple of Kraylus had not yet been built, that Abacus, the first priest of Kraylus, brought a group of about a dozen people on horseback to the site he had chosen for the temple. Among these were legendary persons of those days including Allort and Beepe. Then Valindra came to them and stood on the site where the temple would later be built and urged them not to worship Kraylus and the other gods, but instead to demand that the gods elevate one of the mortals to godhood. She demonstrated magical powers that she possessed, but none there heeded her words. Later the temple was built and Valindra found others to join her religion.
